We are a New Life Church in Te Anau located approx. 90 mins south west from Queenstown.We value family, fun, worship, honour, listening, prayer, faith & prophecy.Sunday Services at 10am
Our Journey
- 1987 Daryl and Roberta Watson moved with their family up from Orepuki to lead the church.
- It had been a homegroup for some time.
- The homegroup was planted by Leo Austin of the Orepuki New Life Church.
- Church met at the Fiordland Hotel (on the entry to town) at 2pm.
- 1990 (Around) moved to the Primary School Hall.
- 1993 (Around) moved to evening service (6pm) at the Turnbull
- Room at the then THC. Hotel
- 1998 (Around) changed the name from Te Anau New Life Church to Te Anau Christian Centre
- 2001 Daryl and Roberta left for ministry opportunities in Australia.
- 2001 April John and Fiona Steffens took over. Shortly after, we moved to having evening meeting at the Presbyterian Church building
- 2008 laid the foundation for the Blatch Road buildings.
- 2009 13 June Held opening service for said building
- 2010-11 (Around) Benji and Alanna Alexander were appointed associate Pastors
- 2012 First 3 month Revival School Course was held
- 2019 Benji and Alanna resigned to pursue ministry options in the North.
- 2020 Going strong despite challenges of corona
